It all depends what is your current weight and how much you want to lose. Recommendations on weight loss can also be dependent on age, sex, present health conditions and a few others. Personally I think that one should always target weight loss slowly and gradually, giving your body and metabolism enough time to cope up with the changes.

I generally start with taking things lightly by 15-30 minutes walking for a few days, then switch to brisk walking and then introducing moderate weight lifting and cardio exercises a few weeks later . Listen to your body, thats important too. It might be a good idea to consult a gym instructor or your doctor if you are looking for a drastic weight loss. Additionally, changes in diet are essential too.

It is best to find a weight loss buddy so you both can encourage each other during this process, making your weight loss a fun activity than trying to be a lone warrior.

Bikram yoga is special yoga time which is helpful for losing weight also.
I have seen many celebrities doing bikram yoga for losing their weight.

Yes, I say jogging or bicycling for aerobic exercises. Or join an exercise class is a good way too. Maybe incorporate some circuit training into your routine as well. Also, yoga is nice for flexibility. All three of these are such good means of exercise. Remember, watching what you eat is equally important too!

I think the best way to burn calories aka lose weight is to do aerobic exercises that I mentioned above. If you want to tone, I say squats, ab exercises (look on youtube for a bunch of ideas), lifting weights is a great addition. Doing sun salutations and variations of it in an hour long yoga class will definitely help you sweat it all out and improve your flexibility.

There are lot of exercises but in my opinion cardio exercises are best for weight lose. Walking,jogging,swimming and running are best exercises for weight lose.

Exercises are necessary for losing our extra body weight. Without exercises we never get fitness and improve our stamina. The more effective exercises for weight loss are cardio exercises such as walking, running, jogging, swimming, cycling, push ups, and pull ups.

All nice discussion, thanks for that. As far as weight loss in concerned, I couldn't find
anything better and natural than cardio exercises. Personally I do swimming early in the
morning with empty stomach. Must try.

The best way to reduce your weight is do some workout like little weight lifting this will use your body glucose and then do your aerobics, as your body glucose is been used the only energy source in your body is fats so it will be used eventually u been slimmer so first do workout and then any kind of aerobics and do reply for your result.
Swimming is apparently the best.
