Eating Right While at the Movies
Who doesn't like to see a chick flick or a comedy right on the big screen? We all do, but we all might have one thing that we hate about the movies. One of those things that we might find that we have a hard time with when we go to the movies is that we might actually all find it hard to stick to any sort of diet when we go to the movie theatre. That seems to be what we gather when we talk to those who have tried dieting. In America and other cultures as well, there are just certain things that you should have when you go to sit at the theatre. So, here are some tips for all of you.
Now, some of you have done this before and ladies do not tell us that you haven't done this. Many of us have taken our huge purses and have brought our own snacks. While this is an option for some as they have mastered this, many of you haven't and therefore this is not an option for you. Not only would you save money, but you would also save calories because let's face it, the movie theatre just keeps getting better and better about the different foods they offer when you go to see one basic motion picture. So, what can you do if you have to eat the foods there? Well, you don't have to yet, you might be craving a snack. Well, here are some ideas for you who have to pay that ever tempting trip to the concession stand. Are you ready for them? You know you are. Now, popcorn is only good if you get the butter. That is okay long as you don't eat a ton of it. Many of us go for the large popcorn and even before the movie begins, we have eaten half the container. This is a big problem. Therefore, try getting the smallest size possible. This way you can sit and eat the whole thing, but then don't have to feel too worried about how much you just ate. Another tip is to buy diet soda. It has less calories. If you don't want that bring some crystal lites to go or something that you can mix in water that has half the calories. Then just get a glass of water and pour that in. When it comes to candy don't go for the chocolates. The nice thing about the size of candy they give you, they are usually the right portions. They just charge you an arm and a leg. However, try going for something that has even fewer calories. This will be your gummy bears or things like that. You wouldn't believe the calories you can save by doing this. If you don't want to eat anything as these don't sound like helping your diet at all we have one other option. Go eat a meal of your own likings which is healthy for you so that way you don't go to the movie totally hungry. When you do this, you won't be tempted. If you want something in your mouth as it only seems right at the movie, chew some gum. We hope these help you.
