Eating the Right Size
How many of you out there have gone to bed quite full because you ate way too much? How many of you do this on a daily basis? Now, you might wonder why you have a hard time losing weight and this is why. You eat way more than you should. So we have some tips for you to try so can rethink overeating.

Many of us want to go for seconds if it is something that is really good. We all have been in this spot before. Yet, that second helping might put our stomachs in an uproar. So, what can you do to prevent this? The number one way is by waiting a few minutes to see if your stomach can handle that second helping. It normally takes your stomach a bit of time to determine that it still wants more and can handle more.

Some of us were raised that we have to clean our plates. This is good for those who don't want to waste food, but it's not the best thing to do when you are trying to lose weight. When you do this, you are forcing yourself to eat this food. It is estimated that one out of every four people does this. Don't force yourself to eat.

We also tend to eat from the package. We are talking about all those snacks that we all love. Then we look down and wonder how we could have eaten the whole thing. It's like when did I do this? When you put it on a plate and ration yourself you lose weight and you have more food for later.

If you are the type that you must load up your plate, try reverse psychology. Load up your plate, but with the good stuff you are supposed to have. Then you won't feel so bad when you eat the whole plate. We bet there are many people who have not thought of this.

Some of us get the biggest plate we can find and we fill it to the brim. If you have healthy things this is all well in good. If you can't find it in yourself to fill it with the good stuff, then use a smaller plate. This limits you all the more as to how much you can put on it.

Then there is the thrill of ordering when you go to restaurants. This is where the hard part comes in. Society has told us that we always have to supersize everything. This is not true. You can get small. Actually, it pays off to get small. Many fast food joints have value menus and small is what you get for a dollar.

The last thing is if you have a sweet tooth. Many of us get the gallon of ice cream. It's good when you have control of yourself, but if you don't have control here is an option. Why not get things that are in a package? Like say for instance, get an ice cream sandwich or something like that. Then you can only have one.
