The Branding of a Healthy Body
With the advent of the modern man came the elaborately orchestrated economies and markets. And with the growing competition in these markets began the jostling for something different and new. But never was it imagined that this commercialization would march into fields and domains never thought to be vulnerable.

Across the world, of all the people who resolve to lose weight every year, many do not do so just because all of a sudden they have been enlightened about the health hazards obesity could have on them. The propaganda that is carried within undercurrents through media, movies, advertisements, and most importantly the products endorsing fitness is actually what drives most people towards an attempt to lose weight. If you ask people going through a weight loss regime, the reason that pushed them towards losing weight, the answers might be able to put this cogent point across.

In an attempt to bring into limelight novel and unique methods to stir demands among people, weight loss product companies have been known to propagate unhealthy practices in the advertisements under the cover of weight loss techniques. Several practices that could potentially harm the users are being sold without any restrictions or qualifications. The advertisements of such products use professional models as their front men who carry on their shoulders the task of convincing the audience the efficiency of the product. The chiseled models announce the affectivity of the product being sold and it is left to the imagination of the user, that how the newly invented gadget was able to carve a figure that would take years of effort.

The misleading campaigns, more than just being intriguing acts of marketing, carry the potential of kicking their customers in the teeth. Not only do they misguide the audience about the realistic effects that the product would bring to the users, they also propagate misleading perceptions about health and weight management. The picture that a typical campaign of such product would paint would only highlight the changes that the product might possibly bring to your physique. The misrepresentation of health as just an over exercised muscle or an over attended body part serves the purpose of allowing them to laugh all the way to banks. On the other hand, the consumers who are often misled by false promises and treacherous packaging are left to feel the brunt of the situation.

Health is not something that could be worn twice a day for ten minutes, or something swallowed with a glass of water every morning. You might be successful in losing a few pounds due to the new found product, but that in no way guarantees you a better health and a better tomorrow. Even if there is any benefit that can be derived of these products, they do not come without the peril of crippling you against habits and lifestyle that are the fundamentals of a holistically healthy body. In the best case, these products serve just the purpose they are cut out for. They may make your paunch an inch shy, but that is not what the target must be. Aim for a body which is lean, fit and active. Cosmetic alterations might lure, but patience and cogitation would bring actuality to surface, which puts health the first in the pecking order.
