Mend Mistakes and Keep that Gym Membership
At the beginning of the year, all the gyms in your area are giving new members membership trials and many other things all to get them coming through the door. You might have gone to the trouble of getting a gym membership, but now that the New Year is over, you are finding that you aren't losing the weight like you have anticipated you would. You might feel a little depressed by this. Well, don't give up your gym membership. Instead read this and find the three most common mistakes that people make at the gym and why they don't see any weight loss.
The first thing that they have found when doing research on this issue is that most people are not consistent. There routine is actually quite inconsistent. How so? Many of you out there are only going once or twice a week. Now, we do give you kudos for hitting it pretty hard when you do go, but you can't do this. You have to go a few times a week and you can't use the excuse that you are too busy because we all are, yet there are people out there doing just this. They are the ones seeing the weight loss difference. Now, we knot that you can't go every day. That isn't realistic at all. So, the experts have this suggestion. They suggest you set a goal. This could be like I will go three times a week. Then if you do this, you reward yourself. Buy a new outfit. Go to a football game that you would have missed. You did what you set out to do. The next mistake that they find that people make half way through the year when it concerns the gym is that they have those unrealistic goals. They expect to lose this amount by this date. When they don't do this they give up. You should set goals, but keep those goals real. If you don't think you can then you might not be able to. If you say that is doable but I will have to do this then go for it. Then again, reward yourself when you do it and exceed your goals. The last thing that they find that people do which is often a gym mistake is that they are doing all they can at the gym, but they are making no changes in what they eat. You have to make the changes. If you are still eating as you were when you started exercising you are not going to get anywhere. When you make these changes it is guaranteed that you will notice a different in your size when you step onto the scale. So, take these three mistakes and make sure that you are not making them yourself before you say enough is enough and cancel your membership. Many people make these mistakes. Be one of them that does something about it though and does not quit. You can do it and you know that you can.
