Harmful Effects Of Obesity
Obesity is one of the most dangerous and life threatening problem faced by us for the last few years. It is a problem that hits a man both directly and indirectly. Directly it is the cause for the occurrence of many life threatening diseases like atherosclerosis, hormonal imbalance and many others whereas indirectly it has a huge impact on a person at a psychological level. Now in our world, every one wants to attain a good physique. In such surroundings if a person suffers from overweight or underweight it is not very much comfortable for them to adjust to the society. This leads to the arousal of the signs of discomfort in them.

Due to the strong affinity of the people of our society to attain the best possible physique, people suffering from obesity also suffer from mental dissatisfaction. They even sometime feel that they are not capable of solving any problem. What this gradually does is it sinks a person into isolation and depression. Some of the patients even grow a tendency of committing suicide in them. Obese people are most of the times embarrassed with the odd shape of their figure and thus they have a tendency of isolating themselves from others. Most of the times, they feel embarrassed to eat in front of others, to go out or even to talk to people.

What hurts more is the rudeness of our society. Instead of consolating them what our society does most of the times are, they make fun of these people. This attitude of the society makes these people even more shy to express themselves and to mix with people. In extreme cases obese people are found to have grown so much shyness that they hardly go out of their houses. The results being the absence of any workouts that are performed which in turn results in increased obesity.

With the increase in obesity in a person several things change. For example the relationship of these people with food changes dramatically and so does their bad habits. In most of the cases it is this intake of food that helps them to fight their anxieties and negative emotions. That is why the quantity of the intake of food in an obese person increases rapidly.

As these people are always surrounded with negative thoughts, even per suing them to loose weight and try to lead a better and positive life seems to be impossible. However it is very important to persuade an obese person to at least try to loose weight. One must try to convince them that things may change if they try to loose a few kilos of their weight because in most of the cases these people seem to loose faith form the remedial measures as they may have turned useless in some occasions.

One may even consult a psychologist for a better result. They may be able to convince these persons better than any normal person. Physicians may also be of a great help. One must consult a physician before taking any step.
