Negative Impacts Of Obesity On Sex Life
Obesity is one of the problems that most of us are suffering from in today's age. People have been looking for the remedial measures of obesity for so many years. Obesity, more specifically morbid obesity causes a huge number of ill effects in one's body. One of the very profound problems that may arise due to obesity is lack of self esteem. Many of the obese people today are lacking self esteem and confidence in them. This has a direct and very adverse effect in the bed room too.

It is often noticed that obese people suffer in their sex lives more than any other people. Statistics show a dramatic result that obese people are 30 times more likely to report about having problems in their married life than the people with normal weights. Though lack of energy is one of the causes of this statistics more than 60 per cent of these problems are said to arise from lack of confidence.

If we try to find out the reasons why some people suffer from these problems, we can sum up the following points- low desires of having sex, less efficient sex performances, dramatic fall in the sexual enjoyment etc. if we notice carefully we can see all these points are related to the size of a man. As the size of a man increases, problems in his sexual life too increase. With the increase in weight sex becomes a more strenuous job. That is why more of the obese people are not attracted towards sex. Weight reduces a person's desire to have prolonged sex.

Apart from the physical impact obesity also has a psychological impact on one's sex life too. As discussed earlier it reduces a person's self esteem thus restraining him from enjoying in bed. It is seen in one of the studies that 50 per cent of the persons suffering from obesity have decreased sex drives, 42 per cent feels sex to be a very strenuous job where as another 41 per cent totally avoids sex.

Reduced wishes of having sex also have an adverse effect on one's relationships. Certain issues start occurring between the couples relating sex. In most of the cases, emotional imbalance results due to such problems. Attractiveness of one's sex partner is another important issue that arises often. In many cases people find their partners not very attractive due to the presence of their excess fats. This may also lead to lethargy towards sex. However communication and support are the best remedies in such cases. One need to talk to his partner about the issues that they think are affecting their sex life. This can help them to sort most of the problems out.

Obesity can thus affect one's relationships and love life both directly and indirectly. One needs to sort them out by themselves. The best way in which they can do that is sit down, communicate with the partner, focus the main reasons that they think are hampering their sex lives and finally try to sort out a perfect remedy for the problem. One got to help oneself out in such cases as there are no other remedial measures available in the market that can help one in such cases.
