Low Calorie Alcoholic Drinks You Might Find Great to Serve
When people diet, they think that they have to give up alcohol. While it's true, there are some alcoholic drinks that are really loaded with calories, there are some that aren't that bad for you. We did a search and found some great low calorie alcoholic drinks for the person who just wants to kick back and drink a few.
There are some people who are addicted to wine. We can see why. Wine is pretty tasty. It is also healthy for you too. When it comes to red wine, it's pretty low in calories. They will tell you that it is okay to have one glass. This is only one hundred and five calories. For the white wine, there are so many. When it comes to the dry white wine one glass is only ninety seven calories. The medium white wine is only a hundred and five calories. A white wine that is sweet is around a hundred and thirty five calories. Then there is the sparkling white wine. This is normally a hundred and ten calories. Some people like wine, but they really do love something different. If you love something that is used to celebrate, then there is always champagne. This typically has seventy calories in one glass. For something a little different, we searched a little bit harder. A screwdriver is a great mixed drink. It's normally a hundred and eighty calories compared to a margarita which is a hundred and fifty seven calories. Again, this is only for one glass. Still looking for something more maybe something different? We have just that for you. If you are looking for another variety of low calorie alcoholic drinks then why not try a glass of whiskey sour? This has only one hundred and twenty five calories. Or maybe you would like to try Bicardi. Bicardi has a hundred and eighteen calories with every glass. Then there are some pretty awesome drinks. We're talking your vodka which normally has only sixty five calories. Then, you have your rum which only has sixty six calories. Yet, there is tequila which is only sixty five calories. You also have brandy which is sixty four calories. Then, last but not least you have scotch, which is sixty four calories. This isn't too bad when you stop to think about it. There are some drinks that have double that amount. This is a great way to still party and have some fun, but the thing to remember is to consume it in moderation. When you do this, you will have better success at staying on your diet even when you add alcohol to the mix. Some people think that dieting is bad, but it doesn't' have to be all bad. You just have to know how much of something you can have. In this case, you might want to limit yourself to one drink as one glass can be pretty high up there and to think if you had two. Use this as your guide and you are well on your way. |

I agree with consuming in moderation. I discovered this low-calorie vodka drink called voli lyte and it only has 48 cals per fl oz. I mix it with diet tonic water which has basically no cals and put a lot of lime in it. I drink 2-3 of these per night and I really save on the cals. So you don't have to completely give up alcohol when you want to lose weight.

Moderation is the thumb rule, however, red wine has the minimum calories when compared with any other form of alcohol.
