Tips to handle food pushers
Did you know that one of the barriers in losing weight is temptation induced by food pushers?

Food pushers are the people who force you to eat a tempting black forest cake or butter cookies by the name of a festival or an occasional vacation even though when you are not willing to eat it. Food pushers are found everywhere starting from places like your home to a college. They can be in the form of your parent, grand parent, sister, spouse, brother or a friend. The major disadvantage is that you can’t refuse to eat also and eat by obeying them too.

You cannot have an argument over not eating a piece of cake by hurting others feelings as it is not worth it. Instead you have to be gentle and speak softly by saying “no”. For example, your spouse has prepared your favorite cake on your birthday and you are on a strict diet regimen. Your spouse will urge you to eat for the special occasion and if you refuse in a soft manner also, it could lead to an argument. So in such special circumstances you may tell that you are sorry for not taking it and you can reveal the main reason that you are on a strict diet regimen which is really a major health concern and not willing to take it in small quantity also. Once you expose your intention, there are less chances of getting forced. So be honest and wise by your actions in order to avoid a misunderstanding.

If the food pusher is an acquaintance and comes to you with a plateful of sweets and eatables you promptly say no. But still they are attempting to stuff the food to you then you can softly say not now or no thanks by distancing from them. In case if the food pusher is your mother or a close friend, then it is always advisable to sit and have a conversation with them. You must explain it to them that you are following a diet regimen to lose weight and it is very much necessary for you to lose weight health-wise. Also you can tell it to them in a soft, understanding manner that the food they cook is very tasty and you like it, but currently sticking to your diet regimen in order to make it work in a fast way and to avoid relapse by gaining weight. You have to speak to them in a more convincing way that they do not disturb you again by getting eatables to you.

Food pushers come in different kinds. Few of them understand quickly and mend their ways, but the other category keeps on forcing you in a stubborn way even after knowing the reason. For the latter category of people you must not mind that they would get hurt and say promptly that your health is a major concern and ask them to think wise rather than getting hurt over an uneaten pastry. If you are more self-restraint and concerned about your healthy diet plan then you can firmly stick to your decision and handle the latter category of food pushers. If you lack motivation and get tempted by food then it becomes easy for them and they get relieved that you can be a good fat company for them.

If a food pusher is your friend who likes to meet you outdoors at a restaurant for lunch or dinner, then you can chose a restaurant of your own choice where you can find all types of cuisines including healthy food. So, you can order a healthy meal of your choice and your friend can prefer to order their favorite food. If you are forced to share their food then you be straight forward and tell them that you are currently following a healthy food regimen and willing to lose weight in a safe and healthy manner by refusing it.

In case, if the friend asks you to visit their place then you tell that you are going to arrange for special meals at your home this weekend. In this way, you can have control over your food at your place so that the food pusher friend will not get a chance to force any high calorie food in to your mouth.

Apart from food pushers, you can find coach potatoes also who sabotage you by meeting you in the early morning by a name of exercise. In truth, they dislike exercises and waste your time by diverting you from doing exercise. So be watchful about these people in order to stay fit.
