Foods Moms Love, But Can't Introduce Right Away to Baby
We all have foods we love that are sometimes good for us. Sometimes they aren't so good. Moms might have been missing some of these foods as they might have toned down on them for a while. However, even though mom might like some of these foods, baby sometimes shouldn't have them for a certain amount of time due to the possibility of developing an allergy to it. So, what are some of these foods?

One of the first foods that moms have said that they love is peanuts. They love many foods like peanut butter and many other things. This is great, but kids are known to have severe allergies at times to peanuts. These shouldn't be introduced to children until they are about four or five.

Strawberries are another thing that mothers are said to steer away from. Again the reason for this is because of the allergy factor. It can be quite scary the reactions they get and trust us you don't want to risk this. They are normally told not to eat this while breast feeding because they can give this through the milk.

So, what should you introduce to your child? There are quite a few things that you can introduce when you are trying to introduce your child to solids. Let's start at four to six months. This is the average age that many parents feel is time to just go ahead and switch them. They do this for a number of reasons. Some of the things though that you can introduce are: apples, bananas, rice, sweet potatoes, and green beans. This is just a sample, but there is still a little bit more.

Then there is the ever popular six to eight month olds. The list that they can have grows quite a bit. There are many more options which might make you as a parent happy as you might get sick of feeding the same foods. So, some of them include: barley, plums, prunes, mangos, nectarines, carrots, peas, zucchini, and yogurt. You can even add some meat like chicken and tuna.

Then you have the next age range. This is eight to ten months. Since they normally have more teeth, they can really start eating table food. Some of the things at this age range are graham crackers, cheerios, blueberries, melon, grapes, onions, mushrooms, pork, ham, beef, cream cheese, and cottage cheese.

Then there is the last age range. This is ten to twelve years of age. Here they aren't very limited at all. This is because they are used to solid foods by now. This is good news for parents. So, talk to your doctor about the things that they can and cannot have. You might be surprised at what things you wouldn't think about right now. Being a parent can be hard, but that is what professionals are for.

That's a very good piece of information about avoiding the allergy related problem in the children. The children are the one who should be much protected from the allergens as they don't have a good immune power and it would affect their health. So, utmost care must be taken to keep the allergens at a safe distance from the children.
