Running is the best exercises because it helps you burn the calories,
Just in 30 minutes a person can easily burn 300 calories,
Walking, Sprinting and adding hills or an incline can burn 180 calories in 30 minutes....

Here are some weight loss tips for the needy persons.
Do exercises regularly.
Running, swimming and jogging
Drink plenty of water
Control your diet
Take more boiled vegetables
Don't take more cholesterol and fatty foods
Eat fresh fruits especially citric fruits
Drink fresh fruits juice
Take green tea
and use fish oil

Sometimes I enjoy reading these posts, and the different strategies out there to lose weight. While these are some good ideas, a lot of it can be simplified. To be honest, the best way to lose weight is by weight training, cardiovascular activity does not have the metabolic effect that weight training does meaning that the after burn of a workout wont last as long. If you engage in long bouts of cardio you run the risk of losing lean muscle mass which makes it harder to burn calories at rest. I've put together a site called How To Maintain My Weight that focuses on effective means for weight maintenance, but those same principles will assist in weight loss as well.

All training aside, the biggest factor in weight loss, weight maintenance, or weight gain is the diet. Eating a diet that is whole food, high protein, and high in healthy fats will work best. You can literally eat all the meat, nuts, and vegetables that you want any time of day, and keep a watchful eye on your fruit intake as the amount of carbohydrates you eat is the difference in a weight loss and weight gain program. The two food groups you should stay far far away from are Grains and Dairy. Grains wreak havoc on your body causing insulin spikes and inflammation, and unless you are eating organic dairy the processes remove nutritional value, and added sugars are usually present.
