The unknown truth behind weight loss exercise!!
Are you getting worried about the increase in your body fat day by day? Don’t worry because worrying is only going to drag you further away from your goal of getting slim. Here are some important weight loss methods which can help you enormously.
This is common delusion that aerobic exercise tones and firms our muscles. Aerobic exercises do very little in shaping muscles. It is basically the weight training where actual toning and firming of the muscles occur. If you combine both aerobic and weight training you can loose more fat and gain toned muscles. Weight loss exercise has to be performed after getting advice from your physician or trainer especially for the women. If you can develop a toned muscle condition, the metabolism is increased and thereby more fat gets burnt from your body even when you are resting. Healthy muscles also consume calories for them to survive and building good muscles helps your body to fight against diseases better. Weight training or strength training benefits all. It helps increase your muscle density. Performing strength exercise eg weight lifting, weight-resistance exercises on regular basis help maintaining your muscle strength. Some strength training utilizes moderate weights which helps building bone mass and facilitate metabolism. At the same time it tones and provides rigidity to your muscles which in turn gives you a slender, agile look. As I said it is always advisable to perform both strength and aerobic exercises together. Aerobic exercises help your heart and lungs getting stronger and thereby helping your body oxygen gets utilized more effectively. Whereas the weight training helps building muscle, reduce fat and maintain the bone mass. Some example of aerobic exercises are swimming, walking, bicycling etc. For better result it is advisable to alter between 3 to 4 types. These must be performed at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. However the duration will largely depend on your type of body condition and your goal. If you have a good body condition then you may try to work an hour daily which will help burning your fat fast. Always remember that there in no need to overdo yourself when you can easily reap benefit from moderate intensity. Moreover it is more enjoyable as well. If you are starting afresh after a layoff or illness or injury or if you are obese, the low and moderate workout will reap you benefits. It is important to understand the process of weight loss exercise before you really get on with it. Warm up and then cooling down is very important in both aerobic and strength exercises. Get your body warm up slowly by starting slow and then gradually build up speed up to the top level. Similarly at the end of your exercise try to slow down gradually and give your body the required breathing space during the fag end of your workout. I hope you have understood the requirement and benefits of carrying out both aerobic and strength exercises by now. The whole emphasis behind both aerobic and weight training is to get your body parts moving. This is also something that you will enjoy doing. This helps improving the metabolism rate in your body thereby taking you one stride ahead towards a healthier and greener life. |
