Waist to Hip ratio in women: Avocado, Pear and Apple shaped bodies
A large number of people face obesity problems in today’s world. you must have noticed people with huge bellies or bend legs and you will agree with me that it looks awkward. Fat distribution is a problem and where your body stores fat really matters because it can be worst in certain parts of your body. There are a few parts where the storage of fat is rapid.

There are so many techniques and experts have done so many developments in this regard, out of which one of the very useful discovery is waist-to-hip (WTH) ratio. It is a measurement of fat distribution. WTH ratio is helpful in many ways like it can keep track of the progress in your weight loss journey which will give you notification about you being overweight. So WTH ratio is a better indicator for your healthy living with the help of which you can avoid many diseases like diabetes, liver problems as well as heart diseases.

Though working on human body shape is not new but the causes of why our body is in a certain shape is new, the researches while finding the reason of a certain body shape, came up with three different shapes of bodies - pear shaped, apple shaped and Avocado shaped. Thanks to the experts who have made such discoveries which help us medicate and protect ourselves from so many diseases. Following are the three body shapes depending upon the fat storage in certain parts of your body:

- Apple Shape
- Pear Shape
- Avocado Shape

Apple Shape Body
If your body is rich in weight in your abdominal area as well as upper torso, your body is called apple shaped body. People having an apple shape body normally carry a lot of weight around their waist which puts the body at the risk of being exposed to different diseases like heart diseases, diabetes etc. People falling in this category have high health risk.

Pear Shape
Anyone who carries weight around hips, thighs, and buttocks is considered to have a pear shape body. Keeping weight in lower body portion is not dangerous because there is a low health risk involved. It has been noticed that people coming under this category are safe from many cardiovascular disease.

Avocado Shape
This shape is in between apple and pear, people who fit into this category can be victim of both apple or pear shaped body diseases. This category is considered to have moderate health risks because the level of health risk for people under this category is higher than pear shaped but lower than apple shaped people.

Once you get the idea about your body shape and how many health risks you are exposed to, you can start improving your body shape by applying different methods. Start doing exercises, control your diet and live a balanced life, free from drugs and tensions. No matter in which part the fat is stored in your body, by giving some serious attention to the issue you can easily achieve your goals.
