Health Issues Due to Obesity
A new trend in the world today is being overweight. People are obese and out of shape now, seeing a trim and smartly shaped person is indeed a rare sight. A person these days eats way more than what the body can take and metabolize normally. The excess intake of food will also account for the larger extent of droopy and drowsy that a person feels this in turn leads to laziness and hence fat. There is a world of difference between being fat and being obese. They are many people who are simply fat and have a few extra pounds that are either visible or noticed on a weighing scale. However, being termed as obese means that the body is dangerously over the normal weight span and it also means that the body has grown accustomed to that excess weight. Things that matter here the most are such that help the body run. Health issues due to obesity are of a serious nature tend to manifest in a slow manner but they are none the less very severe in nature.

Respiratory system:

The first health issue due to obesity that gets badly affected is the respiratory system. The lungs are made to work at a much higher pace and exhort themselves more in order to supply oxygen to the entire body. When a person is of a normal weight and has a normal body mass in accordance to their age, the lungs function at full capacity to supply sufficient oxygen to the entire body. However, when a person gains weight this puts a strain on the lungs in a way.

Consequently if the body is obese and that means if it is carrying a high level of excess weight then that makes the lungs work at a higher pace and exhorts a greater pressure on them to perform. The lungs this way wear away fast and can cause breathing and respiratory problems. In extreme cases a person who is obese in a young age can also become a victim of much more serious and complex diseases such as complete lung failure. Most obese people also suffer from asthma and other such problems.

These kinds of serious conditions with the lungs can be a cause that a person does not enjoy a full life style and is always made to live a life of dullness and caution. Simple tasks and enjoyable activities such as sports and playing with children become life threatening and a person’s life is altered for the worst part. If obesity is not dealt with at a proper time and age it will inevitably overtake a person’s whole life and this is due to the health problems that co-exist with it.

Heart:

The next major organ of the body that gets majorly affected and is a health issue due to obesity is the heart. It is not able to cater to and provide for an excess amount. The heart of a normal weight, fit person is working usually at full capacity in order to supply sufficient blood flow and keep all other organs functioning properly. When in normal circumstances it is at full capacity then when a person gains weight it begin to get a strain. This strain is basically due to the fact that it is being made work over time and this causes its muscles to wear away.

Joints and Muscles:

The most painful health issue due to obesity and being overweight is the effect that it has upon the joints and muscles of a person. The joints and muscles are designed to hold and handle for the best part a certain amount of body mass. It is not like you can pile up as much weight as you would like and then expect the bones to just carry it without a problem. Most obese people suffer from acute muscular and joint pain all through their lives. They are many people who suffer a great deal due to being overweight and obese.

The main thing that gets affected is the person’s health as that too in a very bad and negative way. Once the body makes peace with the excess weight that it has accumulated it then makes it impossible to lose away.
