These are exercises that help in raising the rates of one's heart beat and breathing temporarily thus increasing the body's metabolism and consequently loosing weight. It ensures the burning of the fat stored in our bodies and thus helps us to loose a considerable portion of our weight.
There are many different types of aerobic exercises for one to follow. All of them are absolutely side effect free and are very much useful in loosing weight. Some of the very common types of aerobic exercises are as follows: - Brisk walking: - it is the simplest form of an aerobic exercise. It can be performed anywhere indoors. The functionalities of these exercises are even increased if there is a treadmill present in the room. Beginners can start the exercise with a time limit of 20 minutes and then gradually increase it to 40 minutes or more. It is better if one performs the exercise 2 to 3 times a day. Running: - running has the same effect as that of walking with the only difference that running shows twice the effect shown in walking. It increases the rate of the heart beat as well as strengthens one's blood vessels and heart. One can run as much as one's body permits. There are no such hard and fast rules. Dance aerobics: - these aerobic exercises are the ones which are accompanied with videos. One can find numerous videos of dance aerobics in the market which can guide them through the process of these aerobics. The other important things necessary for performing these exercises are good shoes and perfect grip. They can be easily performed at one's own house. They can help one to loose weights quickly. Swimming: - swimming is an all round exercise that has lots of benefits. While swimming each and every muscle of one's body f=gets toned. It can help one to loose weight at an amazingly faster pace. The best thing about swimming is that as the exercise is performed in water, there are very less chances of a person getting injured. Cycling: - this activity too operates according to the principles or laws of aerobics. It is a very simple kind of an exercise and anyone of any age can perform it with ease. Cycling is preferred by many people as it is much more enjoyable as compared to running or walking. It also strengthens one's hip muscles as well as tone up one's legs. Aerobic exercises are therefore much easier to perform than any other exercises and many people therefore prefer them over the other kinds of exercises. These exercises can be performed at one's own house and does not need a trainer. One should however consult a physician before taking any decisions. |

Aerobic exercise are very beneficial to burn the extra fat from the belly.
If you want to reduce your belly fat you must do this exercise daily at least 20 minutes which burn 70 calories. |

I like the thoughtfulness of these different exercises as a means to lose weight, but I don't think it should be limited to aerobic activity. Successful weight loss, or weight gain, or even weight maintenance has to do with the amount of lean body mass that a person carries on their body. Lean body mass at rest burns calories, essentially doing work to help us reach that goal with little effort. With that being said, it is important to incorporate weight training into our workouts.
Some criticism of doing so is that some people aren't interested in building big bulky muscle. That, however, is a misconception. You can have a lean physique without having big bulky muscle. Guys like Michael Phelps are a good example of that. He's muscular, but he's lean. In fact, it is imperative that a person has good lean mass so that when the goal changes from weight loss to weight maintenance it is much easier to do with little effort. Another reason in favor of weight training as part of a routine exercise regimen is that cardiovascular activity if performed too rigorously too often will actually work against you. If we get on a treadmill for 30 minutes of continuous running our diet had better have consisted of a lot of carbohydrates for readily available fuel so we don't start robbing our body of lean tissue for energy. As stated above we need that lean tissue to help us burn fat. If you want to make cardio activity an active part of your plan then it should be done in intervals ranging from all out activity, with a short rest. Yet another reason in favor of weight training over cardio or aerobic activity is the oxidative stress that it puts on your body. What is meant by that is when steel oxidizes, it rusts- there's no fixing rust once it has rusted. Cardio activity has the same effect on our body. If performed too often it will cause us to age quicker. The bottom line is weight training will help you get to that weight loss goal much faster than cardio or aerobic activity. Yeah, sometimes it is fun to do, but that is a great way to switch things up if you get into a lull. Just be smart about it, and don't overdo it. |
